For progress on the Muzzle Loader in the Woodworker's Show check out the article "Ron’s ML" under the Articles/Wood Show Projects link.

Thank you for visiting.

We specialize in making custom hand carved gun stocks and gunfitting/gun stock fitting. We also restore antique firearms and work on related items such as display boxes, pistol canes, etc.

Being a specialty shop, all the metalworking is done in house. Metal finishes such as slow rust bluing (not cold bluing), color case hardening are all done here. A complete gunsmith at your service!

Please have a look through the Gallery. These are items all made or restored here. Keep coming back, new items will always be added, and that includes articles in Article link too.

The articles are for the amateur/hobbyist gunsmith and woodworker. There is a belief here in the shop: "...if you like working with your hands and have a desire to do it yourself, why not? It doesn't hurt the business here and you will be enriching the community by learning and doing.... so please have at it! It seems in the modern world of today that working on mechanical contraptions, woodworking etc. yourself is a dying ability. We really want to change that and help the amateur/hobbyist."

When something for you is being worked on, please remember one of the cornerstones of the business here. The machines and tools help; however, the ultimate tools are still human hands and eyes. Each item is assembled, finished, and inspected by hand. There is no tool or machine that can totally replace the human hand and eyes in these applications.

Thanks for stopping by,
